🇺🇸 Christmas is the incredible story of a child born in a manger, in the utmost simplicity, in complete discretion, away from prying eyes. And yet, this child will forever mark the world. He is still present in our lives, even two thousand years later… Whether we believe or not, He is here.

This child built no empire, had no army, made no conquest, constructed no palace… and yet He is still remembered and honored every year since 2000 years… Why? Because this child simply taught Love.

This child who is born has supported the weak, lifted up the infirm, and restored trust to the oppressed. He has taught us to follow only one law. That of Love. He has shown us that it is by following this one law that the world will be saved. He has taught us to love fully, to the end, without conditions.

And then this child also showed us an incredible reality: That Love is stronger than anything, even than death. That death is not an end. But it is a new beginning.

It is the birth of this child that we are going to follow on this journey. By meeting the shepherds and the Magi, the first witnesses of this incredible event. The witnesses who felt that this newborn child had an extraordinary destiny, but who were far, very far from imagining what it would be. We, we have the privilege of knowing.

🇮🇹 Il Natale è la straordinaria storia di un bambino nato in una mangiatoia, nella semplicità più totale, in tutta discrezione, lontano dagli sguardi. Eppure questo bambino segnerà il mondo per sempre. È ancora presente nelle nostre vite, anche duemila anni dopo… Che lo si creda o meno, Lui è qui.

Eppure questo bambino non costruì imperi, non ebbe eserciti, non fece conquiste, non costruì palazzi… Questo bambino insegnò semplicemente l’Amore.

Questo bambino che nasce ha sostenuto i deboli, rialzato gli infermi, restituito fiducia agli oppressi. Ci ha insegnato a seguire una sola legge. Quella dell’Amore. Ci ha insegnato che è seguendo quest’unica legge che il mondo si salverà. Ci ha insegnato ad amare pienamente, fino in fondo, senza condizioni.

E poi questo bambino ci ha anche mostrato una realtà incredibile: Che l’Amore è più forte di tutto, anche della morte. Che la morte non è una fine. Ma è un nuovo inizio.

È la nascita di questo bambino che seguiremo in questo percorso. Incontrando i pastori e i re magi, primi testimoni di questo evento straordinario. I testimoni che hanno sentito che questo bambino nato aveva un destino straordinario, ma che erano lontani, molto lontani dall’immaginare quale sarebbe stato. Noi abbiamo il privilegio di saperlo.

🇫🇷 Noël c’est l’histoire incroyable d’un enfant né dans une mangeoire, dans la simplicité la plus totale, en toute discrétion, loin des regards. Et pourtant cet enfant-là va marquer le monde à tout jamais. Il est présent encore dans nos vies, même deux mille ans après… Qu’on le croit ou pas, Il est là.

Pourtant cet enfant n’a bâti aucun empire, n’a eu aucune armée, n’a fait aucune conquête, n’a construit aucun palais… Cet enfant a juste enseigné l’Amour.

Cet enfant qui naît a soutenu les faibles, relevé les infirmes, redonné confiance aux opprimés. Il nous appris à ne suivre qu’une seule loi. Celle de l’Amour. Il nous a enseigné que c’est en suivant cette seule loi que le monde se sauvera. Il nous a appris à aimer pleinement, jusqu’au bout, sans condition. 

Et puis cet enfant nous a aussi montré une réalité incroyable: Que l’Amour est plus fort que tout, même que la mort. Que la mort n’est pas une fin. Mais qu’elle est un nouveau commencement.

C’est la naissance de cet enfant-là que nous allons suivre dans ce parcours. En rencontrant les bergers et les rois mages, premiers témoins de cet événement incroyable. Les témoins qui ont senti que cet enfant qui vient de naître avait une destinée extraordinaire, mais qui étaient loin, très loin d’imaginer ce qu’elle sera. Nous, nous avons le privilège de le savoir.
